The pond dynamics are very typical in aquaculture as various physical, chemical biological processes are involved with the effect of multiple factors in the ecosystem. The organic substances in aquaculture ponds like unconsumed feed, dead and decaying organic matter, dead phytoplankton & zooplankton, molted shell, excreta of shrimp / fish etc, which will decay at the pond bottom and release harmful & toxic gases like Ammonia, Hydrogen Sulphide, Nitrite etc and produce the black soil.
These toxic gases are very harmful for the shrimp / fish culture and cause various diseases followed by mortalities in the ponds. The unfavorable conditions in the culture ecosystem with all these above issues creates variations in the pond parameters and deplete pond bottom quality, reduce DO levels, increase pathogenic and leads imbalance of the plankton densities. To avoid these adverse effects the culture ponds, better performing zeolite ZEONIEXTM which is designed with strengthened cation exchange capacity (CEC) to address the healthy management of aquaculture ponds with increased efficacy.
